Mastering

Get your tunes pumping and ready for distribution & streaming.

The Mastering process is a critical step of the production process of a track as it plays a crucial role in enhancing the final sound quality of a song, and ensures consistency and quality amongst the diverse array of listening platforms available, whether it be streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Soundcloud, or physical audio formats such as Vinyl, CD, and Cassette.

Each piece of music that comes through our studio is carefully mastered based on its own individual needs. We never use presets and guarantee the same uncompromising level of professional quality you would expect from a world class facility costing hundreds more.

Why Master?

Compatibility and Quality Control for Spotify, Apple Music, and Soundcloud.

Mastering ensures that the audio translates well across different playback systems and formats. This involves adjusting the overall frequency balance, dynamics, stereo image, and overall tonal characteristics of the audio.

Additionally, mastering involves quality control checks to identify and correct any technical issues or artifacts in the audio before it gets distributed to the audience.

Loudness & Volume Levelling

Mastering helps achieve a balanced and appropriate loudness level for the audio, ensuring that it matches industry standards and is competitive with other commercially released tracks. This process involves using techniques such as compression, limiting, and equalization to control the dynamic range and overall volume, making the audio sound more consistent and impactful.
